After four attempted thefts of my metal sculpture, it's finally been put in a better location than outside me shop.  We took it up to Solsberry, Indiana outside of Bloomington recently.  www.sculpturetrails.com

They hold aluminum pours there, and it's a fantastic wooded site.  Bloomington's a big college town with no helmet laws for motorcycles, so it makes a nice road trip.

and it's a blast.  Those ladies are built tough.

The Murders will be playing with the Luxury Pushers in Lexington, KY on July 28 near the Red Mile Racetrack.  It'll be at a Mexican Restaurant where they clear the tables out.  The Luxury Pushers are from Dayton, Ohio and they fucking rock and are always out on the road making new fans.

dECIBEL 451 played this week at the Dame.  www.decibel451.com or on angelfire as db451.  I loaded all my gear onto a gurney i scored for twenty bucks.  That made setup very reasonable.  this gig, i made a meatgrinder, and ground up glass test tubes filled with flourescents.  and used a typewriter with many contact mics and drum triggers, as well as a mic'd power drill and crowbar to tear everything up for the finale, complete with smoke.

Slim from Cadaver in Drag could be heard at the front of the club exclaiming What the Fuck! as our vocalinst came out wearing a bloodsplattered gas mask rigged with a contact mic and pitchshifter. 

We managed to make enough to cover the bartab, but hopefully the video will take us a little further.

Around November 24---attention all ironworkers---

UK Metalshop will be doing an Iron Pour and a party for Jack Gron, former UK Professor.  Fee is around 40 bucks to caste--i think a forty pound piece.  more details later, i don't know if sand is factored into that price, but the chemicals to make the mold  are.  And it's around $10 to caste a sandblock--a six by six iron tile that you can make at the last minute.  I'll also be doing a noise performance for this event.  I'll be presenting, Letter of Resignation.  Which will be very LOUD.

Open Studio at the Reynolds Bldg.  University of Kentucky. First Friday of December.  Donation fee of around four dollars.  The event is in a huge tobacco warehouse filled with artist studios.  The Metalshop next door will also be doing a bronze or aluminum pour.  And I have been asked to do a musical performance.--see photos of my gear.  It will have video projections, and things that go Boom in the night. 

Time to breathe, Time to breathe.  I just got done setting up an art show with Bettydeluxe up in Louisville, KY, USA.  and now I  can finally cook at  home, I can finally rent a movie, I can finally take up stalking as a hobby.

I have a kitten on my face--err, rather a beard that's driving me nuts.  But the stars are in alignment.  For Halloween, my getup is going to be The Dude.  and the alignment part?...my band just happens to be playing at a Bowling Alley.  Yes, Caucasians are going to be the drink of choice for the evening. 

Man, the Dude is not in, Man.
